Champion of Champion Club Pairs

This event was held at Merrylands and Guildford bowling Club 4-5 March 2021 Carmel Sowden and Gina O’Reilly represented Clovelly Women’s Bowling Club at Guildford Bowling Club in this State Competition. Once the girls negotiated M1, M4 , James Ruse Drive and Parramatta Rd and every back street to get to Guildford the girls will find driving to Clovelly a pleasure. The format was sectional, with the winner of each section proceeding into the knock out rounds.Carmel and Gina played exceptional bowls against highly skilled players from Killara Belrose and Munmorah. Unfortunately Carmel and Gina did not go through to the knock out round. The experience gained from playing in state level competition is in valuable and both girls enjoyed the chance to play at this level.
